Inconel 625 Filler Wire

ERNiCrMo-3 / AWS A5.14 – Inconel 625 Welding Wire, TIG Rod, and MIG Wire Supplier in India – UNS N06625 / WNR 2.4856

Inconel 625 Filler Wire manufacturer

Kalpataru Piping Solutions supplies Inconel 625 filler wire (AWS A5.14 ERNiCrMo-3) from stock in Mumbai for TIG, MIG, plasma arc, and SAW welding of UNS N06625 / WNR 2.4856 base material. Our Inconel 625 welding wire is manufactured to ASTM B166 / ASME SB166 and is available as bare wire (coil and spool for MIG/MAG), cut TIG rod (straight lengths), and spooled MIG wire from 0.8 mm to 4.0 mm diameter. This inconel welding wire range covers TIG rod, MIG spool wire, and SMAW electrodes for all Inconel 625 welding applications.

Inconel 625 filler wire does not need post-weld heat treatment. Niobium stabilisation stabilisation eliminates the sensitisation of the heat-affected area and is therefore the choice of consumable when it comes to offshore, chemical manufacturing, and aerospace weld repair. The reason why these Inconel 625 filler wires are used is that they are not sensitive to intergranular corrosion following heating in the carbide precipitation range between 425 degrees C and 850 degrees C.

UNS N06625 Inconel 625 is a wire alloy that is strengthened through solid-solution hardening by molybdenum and niobium. It does not need any precipitation hardening heat treatment. This is because the 625 Inconel welding wires were suitable in use in the application that demanded good mechanical properties at high temperatures due to the high carbon content. Inconel 625 wires have a high level of resistance to various atmospheric, chemical, textile, petroleum industry and food industry exposures.

We are also selling UNS N06625 filler wires which do not need to be annealed after welding and are commonly used in heavy-gauge parts where they must be immune to carbide precipitation. We have stocked TIG rod and MIG spool sizes of most common sizes in ready inventory that can be dispatched within the same week in Mumbai as an Inconel 625 wires stockist. Exporting since 1995 to 40 or more countries with EN 10204 3.1 MTC and NABL-approved test report on each order.

Inconel 625 Wire – Diameters, Forms and Packaging

Inconel 625 wire comes in bare TIG rod (0.8 mm to 4.0 mm), MIG spool wire (0.8 mm to 1.6 mm) and coiled wire. Welding Inconel 625 – TIG, MIG and SMAW Process Guide

Inconel 625 TIG wire (ERNiCrMo-3) is the first-choice consumable for root and precision passes. Inconel 625 MIG wire is used for fill and cap passes on heavier sections. For field repair welding, ENiCrMo-3 coated electrode is used.

Inconel 625 welding does not require post-weld heat treatment. The niobium content stabilises the heat-affected zone against sensitisation, maintaining full corrosion resistance at the weld. Welding Inconel 625 to itself or to carbon steel, stainless steel, or copper-nickel alloys is straightforward using ERNiCrMo-3 filler wire with no preheat requirements for most applications.

Inconel 625 TIG wire is available in 1.0 mm, 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm, and 3.2 mm diameters. Shielding gas for GTAW: 100% Argon. No preheat required for most applications. Inconel 625 Welding Electrode (ENiCrMo-3) vs Filler Wire (ERNiCrMo-3)

Inconel 625 welding electrode (ENiCrMo-3) is the SMAW coated electrode form, distinct from ERNiCrMo-3 filler wire used in TIG and MIG processes. Users searching for the welding electrode form should note: ENiCrMo-3 is the AWS designation for the coated SMAW electrode, while ERNiCrMo-3 is the designation for the bare wire or rod used in GTAW and GMAW processes.

Both ERNiCrMo-3 and ENiCrMo-3 deposit the same Inconel 625 weld metal. The choice of form depends on the welding process: TIG and MIG processes use filler wire (ERNiCrMo-3), while on-site field and maintenance welding typically uses the coated SMAW electrode (ENiCrMo-3). For SMAW coated electrodes (ENiCrMo-3), please contact us for availability and pricing.
