Inconel 625 Instrumentation Valves – Inconel Valves
Inconel 625 Werkstoff Nr. 2.4856 Valves Manufacturer, Exporter and Suppliers in India
ASTM B564 / ASME B16.34 Inconel 625 Instrumentation Valves Manufacturer, Exporter and Supplier in India

Kalpataru Piping Solutions is a major manufacturer, exporter and supplier of EN 10204 3.1 MTC Inconel Valves with EN 10204 3.1 MTC on every order. Kalpataru has been exporting to 40 or more countries since 1995 with Inconel 625 Instrumentation Valves We offer an entire line of instrumentation valve types such as Ball Valves, Check Valves, DBB Valves, Gauge Valves, Manifold Valves, Monoflange Valves, Needle Valves, Plug Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, and Vent and Bleeder Valves, all of ASTM B564 UNS N06625 forged bar stock.
Instrumentation Inconel 625 (UNS N06625 / WNR 2.4856) valves have excellent pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking resistance in chloride-bearing and high-temperature service. Inconel 625 valve bodies are also the material of choice in offshore chemical injection, subsea wellhead isolation and high-pressure gas sampling systems, unlike normal stainless steel valves which lose all mechanical strength at cryogenic temperatures up to 982 degrees Celsius. On each shipment, all valve bodies are made of ASTM B564 UNS N06625 forged bar stock, with EN 10204 3.1 MTC.
These are the WNR 2.4856 Valves which are nickel-based superalloy with a high performance in oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, paper and pulp, industrial machinery, and natural gas fields. Kalpataru also offers wrought (forged and machined) and cast body Inconel 625 valves. We have nickel alloy 625 cast valves that were produced as per ASTM B366, and can be used in high-pressure offshore service where investment cast or sand cast body construction is needed. EN 10204 3.1 All products are traceable and have full MTC documentation.

Inconel 625 Ball Valves: 3-Piece Body, ASTM B564 UNS N06625
The Inconel 625 ball valves have a full-bore or reduced-bore 3-piece body of ASTM B564 UNS N06625 forged bar stock. The 3-piece body design enables the maintenance to be done in-line without the removal of the valve in the pipeline to minimize time spent in the offshore and chemical processing or processing facilities that are crucial to the process. Different end connections, including NPT, BSPT and socket weld. High pressure (6000 PSI) with PTFE or PEEK seat inserts, and metal-to-metal seat options are available when required to operate under high temperatures. It can be used in chemical injection headers, offshore corrosion inhibitor dosing, seawater service, and chloride-containing process streams where the standard 316L stainless steel valves would not be used due to pitting and crevice corrosion.

FAQs: Inconel 625 Instrumentation Valves
What is the pressure rating of Inconel 625 ball valves?
Inconel 625 ball valves come in 3000 PSI and 6000 PSI classes of pressure with sizes between 1/4 inch NPS up to 2 inch NPS. The 6000 PSI is preserved between the cryogenic temperatures (below minus 196 degrees Celsius) and the operating temperatures of about 400 degrees Celsius. A small derating is used at higher temperatures as indicated in the above table of pressure vs temperature.
What is ASTM B564 when it comes to Inconel 625 valves?
ASTM B564 is the standard specification of the nickel alloy forgings. Applied to Inconel 625 instrumentation valves, ASTM B564 UNS N06625 is the forged bar stock used to machine the body of the valve. It is the appropriate material standard of instrumentation bodies of valves. It is not to be mixed with ASTM B444 which regulates seamless pipe and tube and is inapplicable to valves.
Can Inconel 625 valves be used in seawater?
Yes. UNS N06625 is very resistant to seawater corrosion, and to pitting caused by chloride so it can be used in offshore and marine valves. A very common application of inconel 625 ball and check valves is in seawater injection systems, cooling water headers, and subsea chemical injection where the more common 316L or duplex stainless steel valves suffer rapid corrosion.
How is a 2-valve and a 5-valve manifold different in Inconel 625?
A 2-valve manifold is used to offer isolation and equalisation to single-sided measurement of differential pressure. A 3-valve manifold includes block, block and equalise capability. A 5-valve manifold offers dual block and bleed isolation to differential pressure transmitters to ensure it is safe to remove transmitters without shutting down the process. All Kalpataru Inconel 625 manifold valves are designed to 6000 PSI and are produced of ASTM B564 UNS N06625 forged bar stock.
What is the difference between forged and cast body Inconel 625 valves?
Forged body Inconel 625 valves (also known as wrought valves) are machined out of ASTM B564 UNS N06625 bar stock. They provide better grain structure, strength and tight dimensional tolerances. Cast body valves (nickel alloy 625 cast valves) are cast using investment or sand casting in accordance with the ASTM B366 and are applied in cases where complex body geometries are needed. Kalpataru provides forged Inconel 625 instrumentation valves as well as cast. EN 10204 3.1 MTC documentation is contained in both types.
What is the standard of Inconel 625 instrumentation valve design?
ASME B16.34 regulates the design, pressure-temperature ratings and testing of flanged, threaded and welding end valves, even Inconel 625 instrumentation valves. The forged bodies of the valves are up to ASTM B564 (material standard) and the valve assembly is made and tested to ASME B16.34 (dimensional and pressure standard) and API 598 (shell, seat and backseat testing).
