Inconel 625 olets are corrosion-resistant branch outlet fittings supplied by Kalpataru Piping for connecting auxiliary lines and instruments to main pipework. What is the difference between a weldolet and a sockolet in Inconel 625?
An Inconel 625 weldolet is a butt-welding branch fitting used for larger bore connections requiring full-penetration welds (ASTM B366). An Inconel 625 sockolet has a socket-weld end for smaller bore connections. Both are available in UNS N06625 / W.Nr. 2.4856 to MSS SP-97.
